- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I applied for my Social Security benefits at the Rio Rancho Office, after waiting for over an hour and finally talking to an agent I was told to go enter my information on one of the computers there at the office. Why couldn't the agent fill out the simple form. If all I needed to do was enter my information on a computer terminal I could have done this at home saving myself much time and Gas. I also asked them to withhold federal tax which they did not. Now I have filled out another W4 form and need to take it back to the SS office to have it registered. No, you cant mail it and no you just cant hand it to an agent there. You must again wait to have it filed. Another instance of a Government Agency's incompetence and why we need less Government in our lives!By Dan M, March 05, 2017
