  First of all, 1 star is generous for this shitshow. Expect at least an hour wait for about every 15 people ahead of you even though it always appears that they have an adequate amount of people staffed only half are actually at the window. I have had the pain of interacting with at least 4 different workers here and it seems that they all are exceedingly well trained in being as uncooperative as possible and providing customers with just enough attitude to leave them walking out of that place fustrated as all hell. They are however gracious enough to provide a vending machine which eats money and a nice big flat screen tv in front of everyone which they seem to insist on never using but instead make everyone's necks sore by using the old 20 inch box tv so inconveniently placed to the left of where everyone is facing. Add in uncomfortable chairs, a general feeling in the air of disgust and impatience and you have the perfect recipe to leave everyone walking out of there hoping to repress the memories of what just happened until they have to go back in the next day because they didn't have at least 1 of the required materials that these workers are so conveniently adamant about. God help anyone that may enter this place and if you are reading this before going in, I recommend triple checking everything you need beforehand because they seem to just love to tell you that you don't have all the required materials.

  The City of Rio Rancho Motor Vehicle Division need an entire overhall. There are 3 employees just wondering about not doing anything. 2 employees actually processing people. Been here since 10 am, I pulled 104. They are on 68, it is noon. On top of that, they charge a 'city fee'. What is this fee for? Hire more people and be more efficient, effective, and clear with people. Turn away people that do not have the required paperwork instead of letting them come and go to gather cash, bill, paperwork and holding up the line. This is poor city management at best. I will gladly pay MVDnow across the street for effectiveness.

  They should face the chairs to the tv. This way the customer has more privacy.

  I wish I could give less than 1 star!. It took 3 1/2 hours to process 20 customers! Very poor management of the employees. Usually just one clerk was waiting on customers, sometimes there were as many as 3 clerks, all the clerks were gone several times, . Your local grocery store would be out of business if it took them that long to check out customers. Clerks do not know which forms are available for different issues, I had to tell the clerk which forms I needed based on the information from their website. Break time and lunch times need to be staggered so that all employees are not on break or at lunch at the same time. Employees need to be trained before they interact with the customers.
